How to Apply for Kerala Solar Rooftop Subsidy Scheme
Let’s check out how someone can apply for this scheme:
- Go to the official pmsuryaghar.gov.in portal.
- Look for the Consumer Tab and under that select the Apply Now option.
- A new page will be shown that asks you to enter a mobile number and this mobile number needs to be verified with OTP. After verification, provide name, state, district and other details.
- Provide Email and verify it with OTP.
- Go on “Save” to save your profile.
- On the vendor popup select Yes if you want that your vendor fills out your application and if not then select No option.
- Go on Apply for Solar Rooftop and select the state name, district name, discom, consumer number and go on Fetch details to auto fill the required information. Click the Next button to fill and submit the form.
- After this consumer must wait for the Feasibility approval and after that consumer need to select the vendor and provide the bank details where they want to get subsidy.
- Once the installation of a solar plant is completed, the vendor will submit the installation details to the consumer for verification. Further this will be submitted to DISCOM.
- DISCOM will do inspection and submit inspection details to consumers and after the consumer redeems the subsidy and submits to NPIA.
