Kerala Ration Card Types

As of 2025, there are five types of Ration Cards in Kerala and these are:

• NPI (Non Priority Public Sector Institution): This type of ration card is given to families working in the public sector institutions or government departments who do not qualify for any subsidy.
• NPS (Non-Priority Public Sector Subsidy): These ration cards are provided to public sector employees who are eligible for limited subsidies.
• NPNS (Non Priority Non Subsidy): Families under this category are not qualified for any subsidy but they can use ration cards for identification and documentation purposes.
• AYY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana): This is the yellow ration card that is issued to the poorest families who have no regular source of income.Such type of families can get up to 35 Kg of rice each month at a highly subsidized rate.
• PHH (Priority Households): This ration card is given to families living below poverty line but not under AYY. They are entitled to get rice, wheat and other essential commodities at a lower rate.

Below are the steps to check Kerala Ration Card Beneficiary List 2025:

• Scroll down and look for the Total Ration Cards option.
• Go on this option and the district names will be shown with details of total cards issued and total beneficiaries.
• Select your “District Name”.
• Select “TSO” Name.
• Select “ARD Number”.
• The ration card list will be shown.

• Look for the Application Status option.
• A new page will open that shows two options E Service or Card Conversion.
